Many of his comments and explanations are interspersed throughout the text. He is shown using his tools and conceiving and executing his ideas. Photos and text are extremely well integrated. Origins of Pop art are given. Lichtenstein shares his artistic philosophy, and even offers youngsters a lesson to help them free their imaginations. First of all - Lou Ann Walker is an exquisite writer. Her prose is both poetic and precise. It *MAY* be geared for children, but those who love people who do wondrous things with words will love this book. I bought mine used but it's still in print at reasonable prices...
