I really like this. The wand itself is much smaller than an actual replica would be, but it's still great to add to a collection. The size is actually a bonus if it's for a child. It seems pretty durable, as well. It's really easy to put together and comes with a battery, so it's ready to go, right from the box. The snake is just a stand and isn't attached to the wand. The current price of eleven dollars is a good deal for this. This is a great small gift, like a stocking stuffer, for a potter fan.
